Will Power Education Module

Spring 2021

Description

Whether you have known forever that you want to be a teacher or you are thinking about teaching for the first time, this is the module for you! Here you will learn about what it means to be a teacher and how to get there. You will explore the teaching profession in general and the specific requirements for becoming a teacher in New Jersey. You will learn how the College of Education helps you get there, including program offerings, academic supports, and field experiences. You will reflect on the characteristics and skills of a great teacher and put in place a plan of action to see yourself as an engaging and impactful teacher!

We begin with a brief welcome from the Dean of the College of Education (click here). Then jump into the sections listed below and be sure to submit the required activities for each. When everything is in, you will receive a Certificate of Completion to submit in Blackboard to your Will Power facilitator. If you have any questions throughout this module, please email orrl@wpunj.edu and put Will Power Module in the subject line.
