INFORMATION FOR
FLEX, Financial Leadership and Education Exchange, sponsored by the Charles Schwab Foundation, is a dynamic, student-run program that seeks to make financial education accessible to everyone by empowering interested students, especially those from marginalized communities and women, through comprehensive outreach, education, and mentorship. By partnering with faculty and industry professionals, we seek to offer a range of educational programs, including workshops and networking events designed to introduce students at local high schools, community colleges and career changing professionals in New Jersey and the surrounding areas to the world of financial services and the Financial Planning and Wealth Management (FPWM) degree at William Paterson University. Through strategic partnerships with industry leaders and a robust network of mentors, the program aims to provide every student, regardless of background, with the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience to thrive in the financial planning and wealth management profession.
