William Paterson is committed to providing opportunities to help current WP students and visiting students from other colleges move ahead on the path to a college degree. Summer classes offer students the chance to: 

• Catch up, stay on track, or get ahead.
• Take advantage of the cost benefits:
  • Undergraduate summer tuition is 15% less than the semester per-credit rate, one of the lowest summer rates in the state.
  • WP students can apply any Spring refund received toward summer tuition.
  • WP welcomes visiting students from other institutions from around the corner to around the world.  Visiting students who are NJ residents receive the same low tuition rate as current WP students.  
  • WP students who are eligible for federal Pell financial aid may use it toward their summer bill. Other financial aid may also be available.

Summer Sessions at William Paterson University offers more choices and more flexibility. Choose according to your schedule and preferred class day.

Over 500 courses in every discipline will be available during the summer session.  Earn up to 14 credits.  Discounted tuition rates are in effect for all summer terms. Upon course enrollment, a student's account is credited the $50.00 non-refundable summer session application fee.
