The Office of the Registrar

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of the Registrar is to provide timely service to our students, faculty, administrators, and alumni and to the public. These services include maintaining accurate academic records including course offerings, registration records, grades, progress towards degree completion, veterans certification and accuracy of data (room scheduling), and the implementation of the university’s academic policies concerning the integrity of the degrees offered by William Paterson University.

We accomplish this mission by striving towards excellence, challenging ourselves to be efficient and effective, seeking out new and better ways of providing services and contributes to a campus environment, which encourages growth, supports academics, respects people and differences, and promotes communication and participation.

Student Records Policy: The Student records policy at William Paterson University complies with the requirements of the FAMILY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT (FERPA). A statement of the University's policy will appear annually in the student handbook and is available to all currently enrolled students.
