A Message from the Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs

Welcome to the Office of the Provost. I am honored to serve as Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs — the chief academic officer for the University — and to work alongside the outstanding faculty, staff, and students who make this institution exceptional.

In this role, I oversee all undergraduate and graduate programs and lead the development and implementation of academic planning for the University. This includes guiding curriculum and degree development and administering the budget for the Academic Affairs division. As a member of the President's Cabinet, I collaborate with my fellow vice presidents to maintain the quality of the programs and services we offer.

Our university is home to over 150 undergraduate and graduate programs across four outstanding academic colleges — Cotsakos College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and the College of Science and Health — all supported by the David and Lorraine Cheng Library.

Beyond our academic colleges, my office oversees the Honors College, the College of Adult and Professional Studies, WP Online, Institutional Effectiveness, the Center for Teaching Excellence, the Office of Sponsored Programs, and the Office of Transfer Programs and Special Sessions.

In the Office of the Provost and the academic colleges of William Paterson University, we are deeply committed to accreditation excellence, ensuring compliance with the standards established by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and professional associations in the liberal arts and sciences, business, and education. These standards align with our steadfast devotion to student success and career development. We are proud to work alongside our colleagues in the Division of Student Development to support excellence in advisement, mentorship, and career services.
