Business Cards, Letterheads, and Envelopes

William Paterson University has updated its branded stationery for use by authorized members of the campus community. These materials include a newly designed full-color business card, along with a digital business card option. New print and digital letterheads and envelopes are also available.

Business Cards

Both printed and digital business cards are available for faculty and eligible staff.

To order a print and/or digital card, fill out the Business Card Request Form found in WP Connect and submit your request. Please note that business cards must comply with overall branding guidelines for the University.

Cards may include the following:
1. Name
2. Graduate degrees and/or professional certifications
3. Job title and department/office
4. Campus/work contact information (for employees who frequently work off-site, mobile or home numbers may be included upon request)


Cards may NOT include the following:
1. Non-University logos or art work
2. Personal addresses, personal e-mail addresses, or personal webpages
3. Forms of social address (i.e., Mr./Mrs./Ms./Dr./Rev./Sr.)
4. Catch phrases/tag lines/mottos/slogans


Printed Cards

To order printed business cards, fill out the Business Card Request Form in WP Connect. Your request will be directed to Marketing and Public Relations, which will create a PDF for your review. Once approved, Marketing and Public Relations will send the final PDF to the University Print Shop for printing.

The Print Shop will print your cards and send them to you via interoffice mail. Requests will be limited to a quantity of 50 cards.

Processing time will depend on the volume of requests at any given time.

The reverse side of the printed cards will include a unique QR code with your information. Someone who scans this code can upload your contact information directly into the contacts folder of their phone.


Digital Cards

To order a digital business card, fill out the Business Card Request Form in WP Connect. Your request will be directed to Marketing and Public Relations, which will create a jpeg for your review. Once approved, Marketing and Public Relations will provide a final jpeg file, which can be opened and downloaded to your photo file in your phone.

To download, open the email on your phone, press on the jpeg image, select “Add to Photos” from the dialog box that appears, and store the digital card in your photo library or in the Notes section of your phone.

Your digital card will include a unique QR code with your information. Someone who scans this code can upload your contact information directly into the contacts folder of their phone. Click here to upload your digital business card to your phone.

Letterhead and Envelopes

University-branded letterhead is available in print and digital forms for use by offices and departments. Personalized letterheads are available for authorized users.

Letterheads may include the following:
1. College/Department/Office Name
2. College/Department/Office Name
3. Campus Contact Information (phone/fax/email)
4. Website URL
5. Names and Titles for Those Authorized


Letterheads may NOT include the following:
1. Non-University logos or art work
2. Forms of social address (i.e., Mr./Mrs./Ms./Dr./Rev./Sr.)

Letterhead and/or envelopes can be ordered via Order Letterhead Form in WP Connect. All printed letterhead and/or envelope files will be provided as PDFs to you for upload in WP Connect via the Print Services Submission Form. Printed letterheads and envelopes must be charged to your FOAP.

Digital letterheads will be provided to you via email as an attached jpeg file.

Please Note: Processing time for letterhead/digital letterhead/envelopes depends on the volume of requests at any given time. For special cases, please fill out the “Additional Requests” section on the form.
