The EAP is a service for William Paterson University faculty and staff and their household members. The EAP offers confidential short term counseling and referral for problems ranging from work-related concerns to personal difficulties that affect an individual's everyday life. Trained counselors help with problems such as career issues, child care, elder care, family and workplace relationship problems, finances, health care, mental health, retirement, substance abuse, and Work/Life balance.

A comprehensive, integrated continuum of children's mental health care. Various sites based in Pennsylvania, New York, Minnesota and Maine. Programs include inpatient, eating disorder treatment, dual diagnosis (substance abuse and psychiatric diagnosis), acute care inpatient, therapeutic residential, sex offender treatment, group home settings, therapeutic foster care and emergency shelter, partial hospitalization, outpatient individual, group, and family therapy, and schools.

Provides psychotherapy, nutritional counseling, and medical services to adolescents with eating disorders. Conducts assessments and makes referrals. The Eating Disorders Resource Center is part of the Adolescent/ Young Adult Center for Health.

The Helpline offers over-the-phone information and referral to private and non-profit organizations. Through the service, support groups are offered throughout the year.
