William Paterson University Foundation

Since 1992, the William Paterson University Foundation, Inc. has worked to support the philanthropic needs of the University through contributions from alumni, businesses, corporations, foundations, friends, and members of the greater University community who share our commitment and dedication to academic excellence and student success. We are continually working to find invocative ways to increase the amount of financial assistance we can provide to our students, many of whom are the first in their families to attend college and who come from diverse backgrounds and financial circumstances.

A large, and expanding source of such funding comes in the form of donor scholarships. The William Paterson University Foundation has increased its fundraising goals for donor scholarships, and recently celebrated the highly successful conclusion to its Campaign for Scholarships—raising more than $16 million, exceeding the original goal of $10 million by 60 percent. We are grateful to our many donors, whose commitment ensures that vital support is available to our deserving students.
