Drop Off & Pick-up Information

Welcome to the Pre-College Summer Youth Programs at William Paterson University. Pre-College Grades 4-6, Middle, and High School programs are scheduled on the Main campus, located at 300 Pompton Road in Wayne, NJ. Please check below for this year's drop-off information.

Drop-off Information:

All Parents/Guardians must park their car in a legitimate spot in Lot 5 and escort their student to the sign-in table each morning to ensure COVID protocols have been followed.  High School students driving themselves will also need to check-in at the sign-in table.

Parents are REQUIRED to fill out the following EACH morning prior to drop-off for each student attending. No student under 18 is allowed to fill out the screening. Students cannot attend unless the form is completed.

  • COVID-19 Screening
    • If the screening indicates you need to provide a negative COVID test prior to attending, please make sure you have it with you upon arrival

Courses/Programs:

All staff, faculty, students and visitors are accountable for the following standard protocols. Some classes may require variation.

  • Stay home if presenting COVID symptoms
  • Wear a face mask properly
  • Use proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette 
  • Avoid touching your face as much as possible
  • Comply with 6-feet social distancing as it pertains to their program (Instructors and Student Assistants will assist in this measure)
  • Report illnesses and symptoms to the camp Health Director or other healthcare personnel at the camp immediately

Pick-Up Information:

Parents/Guardians can pick-up their students at the conclusion of their last program in Lot 5.  Parents/Guardians are required to park their cars and sign their children out.

It is important to note, that if the Parent/Guardian that registered the student is not the person that will be picking up at the end of the scheduled class time, the Parent/Guardian must email Youth Programs Staff (youthprograms@wpunj.edu) informing us of the change in pick up. Please include the name of the child, the first and last name of the person pick up, and the dates(s) they will be picking up.
