Classroom Support Quick Fixes

• I Can't Hear Sound

• On the Podium Touch Panel:

  Check that the sound is unmuted. 

  Check that sound bar is turned up.

  Make sure that the correct source is selected.

  Typically Podium PC.

  On The PC:

  Make sure the video's sound is turned up

  Check that the PC's sound output is correct.

  The sound selected should not be Realtek.

• My laptop is connected but not appearing on the projector screen.

• On the Podium Touch Panel:

  Check that HDMI is selected as the input source.

  On PC:

  1. Press the Windows button and the letter "P" at the same time.
  2. On the right-hand side of your screen, select duplicate. 

  

• Someone else is logged into the pc and I can't log in.

• Open the podium cabinet and locate the pc button. Press and hold for 10 seconds. Release. Your PC should restart and now you are able to log in. 

  

• The podium computer is not on.

• To turn on the podium computer:

  1. Locate the pc.

  If not on the desk, check underneath the podium, inside the cabinet.

  2. Press the power button breifly.

  

  3. It should glow white. 

  The PC is now on!
