ABOUT PROGRAM

OVERVIEW

The Sales Career Networking Mixer is an in-person sales education program hosted by the Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales at the Cotsakos College of Business, William Paterson University. The program brings together high school students, college students, alums, corporate partners, and educators to network and discuss professional sales education and career opportunities for Gen Z students.

FORMAT

The program consists of Sales Career Networking and Fireside Chat sessions to introduce Gen Z students to professional sales career opportunities.

• SALES CAREER NETWORKING SESSION
  The Sales Career Networking Session is 60 minutes and provides students, educators, and business professionals an opportunity to engage and discuss college and career opportunities. Food, music, and a photo booth will be provided during the session. 
  
  
• STUDENT VOICES FIRESIDE CHAT – GEN Z CAREER INTERESTS
  The Student Voices Fire Side Chat is a 30-minute moderator-led panel discussion with Gen Z high school and college student panelists expressing their career interests. The Fireside Chat will allow participants to ask thought-provoking questions to help them gain real insights into what’s important to Gen Z regarding college education and career paths.
  
  
• ACADEMIC VOICES FIRESIDE CHAT – SALES EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR GEN Z
  The Academic Voices Fire Side Chat is a 30-minute moderator-led panel discussion with New Jersey high school educators and William Paterson University professional sales faculty panelists discussing sales education opportunities for Gen Z. The Fireside Chat will allow participants to ask thought-provoking questions to help them understand sales education classes and degree programs.
  
  
• CORPORATE VOICES FIRESIDE CHAT – SALES CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
  The Corporate Voices Fire Side Chat is a 30-minute moderator-led panel discussion with Corporate Partners of the Russ Berrie Institute and Professional Sales Alum of William Paterson University sharing available sales career opportunities for Gen Z. The Fireside Chat will allow participants to ask thought-provoking questions to help them gain insights into what it is like to work in professional sales and why it is one of the highest-paying career paths.
