IFI Lab is the second stage of Innovation for Impact. Where IFI Challenge ends, the Lab begins: selected teams continue with a committed implementation partner, moving their prototype toward a real, deployment-ready pilot.

The Lab runs on a partner-first model where implementation partners commit to piloting a qualifying solution. Progress is measured against defined implementation targets through the semester. The IFI Lab Showcase in May presents that work to partners, university leadership, and invited guests.

IFI Lab is a continuation, not a separate entry point. Teams reach IFI Lab by first taking part in IFI Challenge each fall, where the strongest work is selected to carry forward into the spring.
