Study Room Reservations

Need a quiet place to study? Study rooms in the Student Center are available for current William Paterson University students on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Reserve a Study Room

  • Visit the Information Desk to request an available study room.
  • Present a valid William Paterson University ID card.
  • Your ID will be held at the Information Desk for the duration of your reservation and returned when you finish using the room.
  • Study rooms cannot be reserved in advance and are available only for immediate use.

Room Usage Guidelines

  • Study rooms are intended for academic and study-related activities.
  • When other students are waiting, use is limited to two hours. If no waitlist exists, students may be permitted to remain longer.
  • Only current WPU students may reserve and use study rooms.
  • The student who reserves the room is responsible for the room and its contents during the reservation period.
  • Rooms should be left clean and in the same condition in which they were found.

Room Features

Each study room includes:

  • One table
  • Four chairs
  • One television
  • One HDMI cable

Important Information

  • Students must return to the Information Desk when they are finished using the room to retrieve their ID.
  • If a student wishes to extend their reservation, they should contact the Information Desk for assistance.
  • Any damage, missing equipment, or policy violations may result in loss of study room privileges and referral to the appropriate university office.
