WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY CHEERLEADING
The unquestioned leaders in University spirit, the cheerleading club not only thrills crowds on the sidelines but also shows off their skills in competition. In recent years the team has taken home the Reach the Beach national championship in the advanced college coed division and in 2020 finished 12th in the nation at the UCA cheerleading nationals at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
In 2021, the team participated in the UCA Virtual Game Day Nationals, earning 1st-place for sideline, 1st-place for timeout and 2nd-place for fight song!
