Here/Now, an annual exhibition featuring William Paterson University student artwork, will be on view at the William Paterson University Galleries from April 19 through May 5, 2021. A virtual jurors’ talk and award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 20 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To help ensure physical distancing and a safe, comfortable experience, we will be limiting admission to 12 visitors at a time to view our in-person exhibition. Visits will be limited to one hour in the gallery, and only members of one group or pod may be present in the gallery at one time. Admittance will be first-come, first-served and gallery visitors will be required to adhere to the following protocols. All individuals will be required to participate in a self-administered health screening including a temperature check prior to their arrival, wear a mask, provide contact information, and social distance. University-affiliated faculty, staff, and students must complete a daily health screening at https://wpconnect.wpunj.edu. Visitors without a University affiliation must use the CDC's Self-Checker found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptomstesting/symptoms.html. On view in the South Gallery, this exhibition showcases a variety of media including drawing, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. William Paterson University Department of Art faculty members Leslie Nobler, Lily Prince, and Steve Rittler juried the exhibition.

Here/Now is one of two exhibitions on view concurrently in the William Paterson University Galleries. On view in the Court Gallery is Fertile Ground, which showcases recently retired Professor of Art Elaine Lorenz’s ceramic sculptures inspired by elements of nature alongside works by her former ceramic students: Leslie Adler, David D'Ostilio, Amal Elnahrawy, Kara Kovach, Deborah Guzmán Meyer, Diana Jean Puglisi, Marcos Salazar, Jason Schneider, and Sarah Van Vliet.
