Here/Now: A Juried Exhibition of Student Artwork

Juried by William Paterson Art Department faculty, this exhibition showcases student artwork in diverse media.

Here/Now, an annual exhibition that features William Paterson University student artwork, will be on view at the William Paterson University Galleries from April 8 through May 8, 2019. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment. Admission is free. An award ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 25 from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. followed by an opening reception from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. 

On view in the Court Gallery, this exhibition showcases a variety of media including drawing, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. The exhibition was juried by Matthew Finn, Julie Nagle, and Hyukjae Yoo, William Paterson University professors of art. 

Artists featured in the exhibition include Tatiana Atily, Alison Cooke, Kohl Donnelly, Kate Ferraro, Kristin Gerhart and Julian Solis, Lauren Goff, Carissa Kelly, Christine Kim, Nicol Lakomy, Danielle Mardini, John McElrone and Phuong Le, Dina Merza, Allison Mucaro, Kathleen Nipal, Michael Obeso, Michael Plewa, Marcos Salazar, Michael Scrivana, Chase Simmons, Olha Voytsitska, and Victoria Vulcano. 

Here/Now is one of two exhibitions on view concurrently in the William Paterson University Galleries. On view in the South and East Galleries, Rafael Soriano: Cabezas (Heads) showcases more than 20 significant paintings by the Cuban-born painter.
