Sebastian “Seabass” Escobar discovered his passion for broadcast communication at William Paterson University. As a radio host and program director for WP 88.7 Brave New Radio, Sebastian not only earned a national award—named Best On-Air Personality at the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System’s national awards ceremony— he also gained hands-on learning experience, benefited from state-of-the-art facilities, and connected with faculty mentors who gave him the power to find his voice and build his vision for the future.

Sebastian Escobar discovered his passion for broadcast communication at William Paterson University. A trip to University Club Fair during freshman year led him to become a radio host and program director for WP 88.7 Brave New Radio. He then went on to win a national award from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System for “Best On-Air Personality.”
