Students who earn a Business Analytics Certificate will be able to explain how analytics can improve information management and decision making, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of principles of spreadsheets, R and Python programming and software development, conduct statistical analysis using a software package, interpret output from statistical models, draw inferences, and efficiently communicate the results of an analysis.

 

The primary audience for the certificate is matriculated students in business and other majors, especially computer science and mathematics. The Business Analytics Certificate would qualify those with an associate’s degree get a job in data analytics and provide a pathway towards a bachelor’s degree to further their career.
