Comedian Jordan Klepper, Co-Host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, to Speak on October 24 as Part of William Paterson University Distinguished Lecturer Series


Comedian Jordan Klepper, the Emmy Award-winning co-hot of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, will speak at William Paterson University in Wayne on Friday, October 24, 2025 as part of the Distinguished Lecturer Series.

The event, titled “A Conversation with Jordan Klepper,” begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Tickets are $42, Gold Circle; $38 for orchestra/front loge; and $32 for rear loge/accessible seating.

Klepper is perhaps best known for his work with The Daily Show and his multiple Emmy- nominated specials focusing on the political world. From covering the gun safety debate (Jordan Klepper Solves Guns) to his docuseries on the world of activism (Klepper on Comedy Central) Klepper has witnessed an insurrection, capsized a boat with pipeline protestors, interviewed a president, and been arrested and locked up in the Fulton County Jail. He also travels the globe with his segment “Fingers the Pulse,” which has racked up hundreds of millions of views.

He wrote, starred in, and executive produced Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Into the MagaVerse, Fingers the Midterms (the most-watched special on Comedy Central), and Hungary for Democracy, the latter of which garnered him a Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in TV Political Journalism. He executive-produced and hosted The Opposition and Klepper on Comedy Central.

In addition to being a correspondent on the Peabody Award-winning Daily Show for nearly a decade, and co-hosting the show this election year, he’s branched out into the podcast space, co-hosting StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson, co-hosting Kasich and Klepper with former Governor John Kasich, as well as the Webby Award-winning Fingers the Conspiracy, which took a deep dive into the world of conspiracy.

Beyond his work in comedy, Klepper has chronicled his experiences in the world of politics from essays on CBS Morning to op-eds in the Boston Globe. He’s also been seen on CNN, MSNBC, Showtime's The Circus, HBO’s Night of Too Many Stars, Netflix’s The Who’s Who Show, and he voices Pete on Disney’s The Ghost and Molly McGee.

William Paterson University’s Distinguished Lecturer Series is in its 44th season of bringing leading personalities from the worlds of politics, government, the arts, literature, sports, science, and business, along with original programs, to the University’s campus in Wayne. In the more than four-decade history of the series, more than 175 public figures, including British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, journalist and activist Gloria Steinem, composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, actor and playwright Anna Deveare Smith, former New York Yankee and musician Bernie Williams, and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, have made presentations to 100,000 audience members.
