Proudest Professional Accomplishment: "I am most proud of my work during the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Short-Term project in Ayacucho, Peru, in the summer of 2024. During this experience, I successfully met several key goals, including leading seminars, workshops, and professional development sessions; advising the Ayacucho DRE on various projects and initiatives; reviewing academic study plans and educational materials; and proposing evaluation methods to assess learning outcomes.”

WP Pride. “William Paterson played a significant role in my success by providing professors who maintained high rigor and high expectations across all my programs. I was challenged in both my learning and writing, and I had the privilege of taking courses that aligned with my personal interests. Additionally, working at Hospitality Services for four years in various roles taught me valuable skills such as work ethic, collaboration, problem-solving, and time management. My time on the executive board of the Feminist Collective further strengthened my leadership and communication skills. These experiences at WP collectively shaped me into a person who has gone on to build a highly successful career as an educator in New Jersey’s outstanding public schools.”
