Current Title: President, Retail and Digital Banking, Valley Bank
Justin Black serves as president of retail and digital banking for Valley Bank, where he is responsible for the financial growth of the bank’s 400,000 consumer and 90,000 small business clients who are served across 230 branches and digital channels. Justin, who began his career at Valley Bank in 2003, has led teams across many disciplines at the company, including finance, strategy, risk management, customer experience, marketing, care center, retail banking, digital banking, and fintech banking. Each team presented him with unique opportunities to build upon the bank’s capabilities, accelerate growth, or lead transformational change. Justin is a member of the Costakos College of Business Advisory Board at William Paterson, where he supports the college’s efforts to provide increased professional enrichment opportunities for the University’s students.
