Proudest Professional Accomplishment: “My proudest accomplishment to date would be my first story I wrote for Nightline, which gave me my first national Emmy nomination. It was a story about the first Black-owned swim club in the country; it helped shape the lives of so many Black Americans, including Cullen Jones, an Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer”

WP Pride. “There was one moment that I will never forget. I was unsure about my future in television news and whether or not I’d be successful. If not for the encouragement of Loretta McLaughlin Vignier and the rest of the faculty pushing me and reminding me that I had all the skills needed to succeed, I don’t think I would be where I am now.”
