Current Title: Controller, InterVest Capital Partners
Kayla-Lynn Kasica is a certified public accountant in New York with nearly a decade of experience. In her current role as controller for InterVest Capital Partners, she is responsible for global consolidated reporting, enterprise report planning (ERP) systems and internal controls. Most recently, she led a major NetSuite ERP project to upgrade the technology at her company. In 2024, Kayla-Lynn was accepted into the prestigious NBK RISE, a first-of-its-kind Global Women’s Leadership Program designed by women for women. Before joining InterVest, Kayla-Lynn was an assistant controller at Brookfield Properties, where she built out the accounting processes and procedures for the Space+ division. She has significant ERP systems knowledge through previous roles as a systems administrator supporting accounting and operations teams. Most notably, Kayla-Lynn received her CPA designation in 2023, part of a long-term goal to underscore her expertise in U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. She currently volunteers as part of William Paterson’s Pesce Family Mentoring Institute, where she mentors a student majoring in accounting.
