Popular Music Student to Present Spring 2023 Showcase on April 19

Students in the University’s popular music program will present their Spring 2023 Pop Showcase on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Admission is free.

The annual performance showcases the wide range of talented students in the program and will feature a mix of original and cover songs. Performers from the Waldwick School of Rock will open the event.

“This is an excellent way to support not only the students, but the popular music program, so that events just like this one can continue in the near future,” says Gina LaPilusa, a senior majoring in popular music who is directing the event along with Ginny Lackey, a junior popular music major. “Bring your family, friends, and colleagues, and we are looking forward to seeing you there for a great show!”

Andie Baldwin, a junior popular music major, is the music director. David Philp, professor of music
