Killer Queen, a Tribute to Queen, Featured at William Paterson University on March 10

Killer Queen, a leading Queen tribute band, featuring Patrick Myers as Freddie Mercury, will perform at William Paterson University on Friday, March 10, at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the campus in Wayne.

Tickets are $65 for Gold Circle, $55 for orchestra/front loge, and $45 for rear loge. There is a 10 percent discount available for senior citizens and William Paterson University faculty, staff, alumni, and students. There is an additional $5 charge per ticket for tickets purchased at the box office on the evening of the show.

Killer Queen formed in 1993 and played their first public shows at London University, following in the footsteps of the real Queen who had played their first shows there two decades earlier. Since then, the band's reputation has grown both in the United Kingdom and abroad.

The first tribute show to secure a theater residency in London’s West End, the band now tours worldwide; they have been crowned “Worldwide Best Tribute Band” and named “2019 Concert of the Year” by DigitalJournal.com. They also scored a number one hit for their recreation of Queen's harmonies on “The Real Life” with Fatboy Slim. In 2020 the band released a single in the style of Queen, “We'll Fight Again.”
