More than 500 students learned about the importance of philanthropy during the University’s first Pioneer GratiTuesday event on February 14. The special event, held at four locations throughout campus, provided students with the opportunity to thank donors for their support to William Paterson University.

Students from a variety of programs, majors, athletic teams, and clubs had the opportunity to sign “Thank You” cards to donors for their generous contributions while finding out about the impact donors have on their education.

“Scholarships can make a critical difference for students seeking to achieve their academic goals, especially for those with financial need,” remarked Pamela Ferguson, vice president for institutional advancement. Gifts of all sizes foster student success and have a meaningful impact on students as they work towards their dream of becoming college graduates.
