INFORMATION FOR
The Linda Ronstadt Experience, a tribute band featuring American Idol star Tristan McIntosh that showcases the songs of musical legend Linda Ronstadt, will be held at the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus in Wayne, NJ on Friday, November 5.
The performance will start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 for orchestra and $20 for loge seating.
Ronstadt is credited with helping forge the 70s’ “country rock” sound with her renditions of classic rock songs by The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Warren Zevon, Tom Petty, and more. Her repertoire will be on full display when the band takes the Shea Center stage, performing hits like “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “That’ll Be The Day,” and “Blue Bayou,” to name a few.
Created in 2018 by bassist Junior Cain, The Linda Ronstadt Experience was formed to keep Ronstadt’s legacy alive and bring her music into the 21st century after her diagnosis with Parkinson’s made her unable to sing and perform for fans.
McIntosh, who was a finalist during the 2016 American Idol season, creates a stunning portrayal of Ronstadt in the prime of her career. Her formidable vocal talent and stage presence transports audiences to a time when Ronstadt ruled the airwaves as one of the most popular vocalists in music history.
She will be joined by her superb backing band, made up of Cain on bass; Adam Michael Rothberg on keyboards, guitars, and harmony vocals; Bronson Bush, also on guitar and harmony vocals; and Doug Plavin on drums.
