Destination Motown, a multimedia show featuring the New Jersey band the Sensational Soul Cruisers, will present a virtual concert filled with Motown hits as part of William Paterson University’s WP Presents! series on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 8 p.m. The concert was filmed live in Shea Center on campus for broadcast online.
Back by popular demand, the Sensational Soul Cruisers, who have been described as a cross between Kool and the Gang, Chicago, and the Temptations, perform a variety of the greatest hits by Motown bands such as the Temptations, the Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops and many others. The band’s rhythm section was the band behind Eddie Testa in the movie Eddie and the Cruisers.
