William Paterson University will host Glen Burtnik’s “Summer of Love Woodstock Celebration” on Saturday, December 2. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

The “Summer of Love Woodstock Celebration” is an original tribute to the Woodstock generation and the late 60s. The live celebration will feature music by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, The Beach Boys, Mamas and the Papas, Joe Crocker, Cream and more.
Burtnik, a New Jersey native, is a renowned singer, songwriter and bassist. He formerly was a member of the band Styx and the Original “Beatlemania” Broadway production where he played Paul McCartney. Burtnik now leads a team of more than a dozen musicians in “Summer of Love Woodstock Celebration” shows.
