INFORMATION FOR
Cheyenne Jacobs, a graduating senior at William Paterson University majoring in sports management and media production, is one of 10 students on the planning council for ThisGen: Youth Summit Leadership Council being held March 6 to 10, 2017 in Washington, DC.
Jacobs helped recruit more than 50 of the 80 high school students from 25 different states and Washington, DC to attend this summit, which focuses on inspiring youth activism to end gender-based violence. She also helped to plan activities designed to empower participants with tools and knowledge needed to return to their communities as leaders in ending gender-based violence
At William Paterson, Jacobs is vice president for student affairs in the Student Government Association and a member of Mu Sigma Upsilon sorority.
