Faculty may choose to volunteer as mentors through the Pesce Mentoring Program, help with the Pioneer Food Pantry, work with student groups whose mission matches Emeriti interests and expertise, etc.

The President has hosted on campus events for all Emeriti Faculty and welcoming events for newly inducted Emeriti Faculty.
Spring zoom events have connected faculty who may not come to campus but want to participate and connect with colleagues. Past events have highlighted faculty research, a performance resulting from the auditing of jazz training, and a presentation on how to better protect oneself from online hacking and scams. In Spring 2024 local faculty participated in a walking tour of Spanish Harlem.
