User Services

Under the leadership of the university's Chief Information Officer, the User Services department reports centrally to the university’s Information Technology division. User Services consists of the User Support Services (including Help Desk, Field Support, and the student Technology Assistant Program staff,) Enterprise Desktop Support, and Technology Services.

In coordination, User Services staff triage technology-related requests, resolve technical problems, develop technology infrastructure, and maintain the university community's technology environment. The department's staff manage and support various university-wide technologies including university desktop computing resources (Windows, macOS, public and specialized labs, and centralized software inventory,) print services (including departmental multifunction devices, student/lab printing resources, and Print Shop services,) support for voice services (including campus voice services and university cellular devices,) and the emergency notification system.
