Be a local WPU alumni, community member, WPU adjunct professor or WPU business partner. Have a minimum of five years professional work experience and a bachelor's degree. Possess a strong interest in helping a William Paterson University student with career decision making and professional development. Commit to serve as a mentor for a minimum of one academic year (two semesters). Commit to meeting with your mentee at least once per month. This can be in-person, by Skype, email, or phone. Must be willing to participate in one mentor/mentee program each semester. Must be willing to undergo a background check and complete a brief phone interview. Must be willing to communicate progress and update program coordinator.
