The mission of the Office of Registration Services is to provide timely service to its constituents. The services include maintaining accurate academic records including course offerings, registration records, grades, progress towards degrees and the completion of degree requirements. In addition, our office is the custodian of student data and as such is responsible for the accuracy of this data. We are responsible for the implemention of the university’s academic policies in regard to the integrity of the degrees offered by William Paterson University. We accomplish this mission by striving towards excellence, challenging ourselves to be efficient and effective, seeking out new and better ways of doing business and creating an environment in the office and on the campus which encourages growth, supports academics, respects people and differences, and promotes communication and participation. Objectives: Registration, enrollment and grade processing activities will effectively serve the needs of the university community. Accurate and appropriate student records will be maintained and provided on a timely basis to effectively serve the needs of the university community. Academic policy will be maintained so as to ensure quality and continuity in student degree programs. Our office hours during the Fall and Spring semesters are: Monday 8:30am-4:30pm Tuesday 8:30am-4:30pm Wednesday 8:30am-4:30pm Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Office hours for the Summer Sessions are Monday through Thursday, 8:00am-5:15pm. The Office of the Registrar is located on the lower level of Morrison Hall, Rm G 03. Student Records Policy: The Student records policy at William Paterson University complies with the requirements of the FAMILY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT (FERPA). A statement of the University's policy will appear annually in the student handbook and is available to all currently enrolled students.
