How to Submit a Student Protocol for IRB Review

Step 4: Faculty Advisor Review of Your Protocol Application

Upon submission of an application, your Faculty Advisor will receive an automated InfoReady email from OSP grants@wpunj.edu letting them know that there is a protocol that needs review.  They must login to InfoReady to review and approve your application in the system. This process will replace the need to obtain their signature prior to submitting.  They will still review and approve your protocol before it routes to the IRB.

Step 6: Your application has been submitted to the IRB!

The IRB administrator/designee will evaluate your application for completeness. Incomplete applications run the risk of being returned to the applicant without IRB review. Complete applications will be forwarded to IRB members for review.

Step 7: IRB Review of Protocol

It may take up to 3 weeks to complete the review process.  The IRB administrator/designee will contact you by email once the IRB reviews your protocol.
