IRB Policy and Procedures

In January 2019, the Federal regulations that establish the foundation for the ethical use of human subjects in research, known as the Common Rule, were modified.  In response, WP separated the "IRB Policy" and "IRB Procedures" to establish a policy-based foundation for the use of human subjects while enabling the implementation of procedures that can be updated from time-to-time without needing to pass a new policy.  The Procedures implement the changes to the Common Rule.
