On October 17th, 2016, Dr. Gil Honigfeld, clinical psychologist and professor of William Paterson University, will be presenting his research project on the Zika Virus here on campus. He has developed an ongoing educational project concerning fetal health, microcephaly, and the virus, with particular emphasis on risks to young women of child-bearing potential. He will provide information on human sexual transmission of the virus, and what this will likely mean for future epidemiological trends and potential neonatal risks.
