Strategic Planning 2026-2031

The development of William Paterson University’s Strategic Plan is grounded in transparency, inclusion, and broad community engagement.

A Central Committee provides leadership and coordination for the planning process, working to ensure that perspectives from across the University inform long-term priorities and institutional direction.

Input is gathered from a wide range of stakeholders, including academic and administrative leadership, faculty and staff, students, trustees, alumni, and advisory bodies. These perspectives help shape a shared understanding of the University’s goals, challenges, and opportunities.
