Quality Matters Training – Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) The Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) workshop explores the Quality Matters Rubric and provides a framework to improve the quality of online and blended courses. This is the QM foundation workshop for anyone who might be interested in participating on a peer review team in the future, and participants will surely be able to apply the strategies to their own online course design. During this workshop participants have the opportunity to explore many standards of the Quality Matters rubric in depth, and to apply those standards to a demo course. This workshop helps faculty teaching online and/or hybrid courses enhance their design standards for online instruction. It can also help people who are not teaching online courses, but if the class fills up people teaching online will be given preference over those who are not. QUALITY MATTERS: A National Benchmark for Online Course Design Quality Matters (QM) is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach to continuous improvement in online education and student learning.
