Assessment of Tenured Faculty and Librarians For post-tenure review of applicants previously indicating intent to retire within 3 years

NO LATER THAN
.March 25, 2021 Department Assessment Committee for FY 21 informed of additional candidates to be reviewed in their area based on new AFT/University MOA where faculty who previously deferred or are currently slated for post tenure review may no longer defer.
May 21, 2021 Faculty member submits folder to Department Assessment Committee.
June 11, 2021 Preliminary Department Assessment Committee report due.
June 18, 2021 Final Department Assessment Committee report forwarded to Dean with copy to individual faculty member.
June 25, 2021 Faculty member may request to confer with Dean concerning assessment report if he or she chooses. Dean may request a meeting only if clarification is necessary prior to preparing the report.

Note: This timeline applies to faculty members who previously indicated an intention to retire within three years
and were exempt from the post tenure review process.

Such faculty members must undergo review in accordance with this timeline or sign an irrevocable agreement
to retire/resign by July 1, 2021 in order to be exempt from this process. This must be received no later than
April 1, 2021.
