Students should understand descriptive, predictive & prescriptive analytics: Acquire analytics skills, develop and apply analytics models to business and real world scenarios, especially in the context of big data management. Students should learn and develop proficiency in the use of industry relevant technology tools and software, including programming, data mining, DBs and visualization for big data. Be proficient in integrating the techniques, processes, and procedures of the fundamental business disciplines (i.e. accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management, human resources, operations, and IT). Sales leaders need to understand long-term nature of corporate strategy and its drivers, linking sales strategy implementation and corporate strategy and building organizational/top management support for solution implementation. They must use their knowledge of fundamental business disciplines to identify suitable goals for enhancing a few of the key identified drivers, design and execute a real-life project that deliver implementable plans, based on sound analysis, to achieve those goals. Leadership - Upon completion of this program, our MSSL students will be able to develop a sense of leadership, specifically in the sales domain. Communication - Our MSSL students will be able to showcase their critical thinking capabilities using oral and written communication skill. Professional Sales - MS Student Learning Outcomes Our MSSL graduates will develop tangible business management experiences (knowledge and competence) in their areas of professional interest through the integration of their MSSL coursework. Our MSSL graduates will effectively apply knowledge and skills in areas of knowledge (i.e. including accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, general management, human resource management, music management, professional sales, and strategy), and master them by developing solutions to a selected real-world business problem. Our MSSL students will be able to gather business-level data from an array of credible sources and critically interpret them. Our MSSL students will be able to draw meaningful inferences, using a variety of conceptual models, and data inference techniques. Our students will be able to demonstrate a profound understanding of corporate strategy, sales talent management and alignment of sales related strategies. Our students will be able to showcase essential leadership skills in organizational settings, by their ability to understand an array of processes. Upon completion of this program, our MSSL students will be able to communicate orally complex concepts in the business domain in general and the sales domain in particular with an expert audience. They will be able to perform in an array of communication channels, including individual presentations, role plays, or group discussions. Upon completion of this program, our MSSL students will be able to write effectively for a business-minded audience, using sound logic, with the reasonable support of credible data, and void of any personal speculation.
