Corporate Accounting and Reporting, Undergraduate Certificate

Students will earning this certificate will learn how to measure an organization’s performance against standards and provide advice and reporting using accounting tools; how to guide decisions, manage risk and monitor performance; and the use of appropriate technologies for analyzing data amongst other learning outcomes. This certificate is appropriate for students who may be considering a business start-up and therefore should have some solid accounting and reporting skills. Students who earn the lower-level Business Budgeting and Reporting certificate can add this on as evidence of more advanced skills. A student earning this certificate early on might decide later to pursue a full degree that prepares them for the jobs listed below.

One or more courses taken for this certificate also count towards the accounting and other business majors, the accounting minor and the business minor. Additional advanced accounting certificates can be earned by taking an additional one or two courses.
