INFORMATION FOR
A linguistics scholar and his wife are at odds. The scholar’s assistant is secretly in love with him, and another long-married couple from an un-named country expose radical differences in the possibilities and uses of their language and ours. An assortment of other mysterious characters adds to the play’s blend of joy and sadness. Rising young playwright Julia Cho offers this elegant, graceful confection of a play, which demonstrates both the limits and power of language to communicate feelings of love.
