Chance Correia

Born and raised in Hawaii, Chance Correia’s dreams brought him to New Jersey and William Paterson. Wanting to succeed in business in New York City, Chance sought to advance his career possibilities by enrolling in the University’s rigorous MBA program. Guided by faculty mentors, Chance gained practical experience working on projects involving statistical analysis, professional financial writing, and real-world research. The critical thinking and problem solving skills he acquired through the University’s MBA program prepared him to build a successful career as lead project manager for Mullin TBG (A Prudential Financial Company).

Amanda Kober

Getting a job in one of the most sought-after industries isn’t easy. But Amanda Kober gave herself an incredibly strong advantage: a William Paterson MBA with a concentration in music management--one of only a few such programs offered in the United States. Through this unique specialized MBA program, Amanda took advantage of the University’s proximity to New York City, immersing herself in the industry environment and benefiting from relevant, real world internships. In addition, her professors brought to campus some of the biggest names in the music business. The opportunity to learn from professionals in the music management field and to build industry connections gave Amanda the experience she needed to stand out in a crowd of candidates. Today, she’s working for Sony Music Entertainment and credits her MBA from William Paterson with making all the difference in the world.

Antoinette Uket

It was William Paterson's outstanding reputation for educating teachers that led Antoinette Uket there to earn her master's in special education. The invaluable experiences she had while in the program - both in her coursework and as a classroom teacher - helped her develop the knowledge and skills to become a teacher leader. Currently a 5th grade special education teacher, Antoinette is excited to use what she learned to make an impact on her students' lives.

Gus Gonzales

An Argentinian immigrant, Gus Gonzales earned his MSN in order to open a medical practice to help an underserved community as a nurse practitioner. The coursework and clinical practice helped him develop his leadership and his expertise and experience in advanced nursing practice. It also inspired him to continue his education and pursue his doctor of nursing practice degree. With his doctorate he hopes to get involved in research, to influence policy-making, and to empower change for communities in need.

Frank Franco

After earning a B.S. in accounting at William Paterson, Frank Franco continued on to complete his MBA. The real world experience and leadership training his professors provided gave Frank the expertise to begin his career at the audit and tax firm KPMG. William Paterson required Frank to challenge himself, which in turn gave him the power to become a professional in his field.

Krista Dettle

Krista Dettle earned her master’s in psychology from William Paterson University. She credits her faculty mentors with providing opportunities and encouragement that shaped her clinical and research experiences. She maintains contact with her William Paterson professors for their sound advice on continuing to build her dream career.
