Faces Behind the Helpdesk

It’s 4:29 p.m. on Friday, and that report that absolutely needs to be emailed to your committee members before the end of the week just won’t send.

Or it’s 11 a.m. on Saturday, and you just can’t seem to login to Blackboard check your students’ assignments. Technology always just works…until it doesn't.

Whether you end up calling the Helpdesk at 973-720-HELP (4357) or you submit your own helpdesk ticket at www.wpunj.edu/help, it is very likely that one of the Helpdesk’s phone and remote support staff members will assist with getting your issue resolved. You might be on a first-name basis with the Field Support technicians or student Technology Assistants who visit campus offices to assist with resolving technology-related issues, but the Helpdesk phone and remote support staff members work behind the scenes and are often a voice or name without a face. These are the staff members behind those names and voices.
