Curriculum Materials Center

The Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) is a resource collection for education students and faculty, as well as parents, teachers and librarians.

While the CMC collection focuses primarily on resources for developing lesson plans and curriculum units, this webpage provides access to a wide range of educational resources.

Bibliographies and Resource Guides identify selected resources on a variety of topics. Most resources are available in the CMC.

Collections introduces resources available in the CMC, as well as links to Curriculum Guides from New Jersey school districts. There are also links to databases for grades 1-12.

Lesson Planning  Resources provides links to websites of lesson plans and teaching activities, as well as a variety of education related topics.

Finding Articles links to databases for researching education topics.

The Self-guided Tour is an assignment for students in introductory teacher education classes.

Research Guides connects to research guides developed for specific courses or assignments in the teacher education program.

Located on the first floor of the David and Lorraine Cheng Library, the CMC is open whenever the Library is open, and staff are usually available on weekdays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and some weekend hours. Ask at the Reference Desk for assistance if no one is available in the CMC.
