Catch the Entrepreneurial Spirit

Do you have an idea for a new product or service?  The Student Pitch Tank Competition is a great opportunity to:

  • gain valuable advice in developing your concept and business plan
  • network and exchange ideas with students, professors, and entrepreneurs
  • learn how to communicate and "pitch" your idea to potential investors
  • earn cash rewards and recognition

Students will be asked to prepare and present a brief business concept in groups of 1 to 3 that will be evaluated by a panel of judges.

BUSINESS MAJORS: Earn PE Credit (PE 2.0 Communication Tier 2) for First Round Competition

Competition is open to all William Paterson University undergraduate and graduate students

Requirement: Must submit your idea and a brief overview.

Entry Deadline: Midnight, Wednesday, November 15, 2017

First Round: November 29 and 30, 2017

Finalist Round: March 2018

Cash Awards

First place: $3,000
Second place: $2,000
Third place: $1,000
