Colleen Monahan ’25, a graphic design major at William Paterson University, has grown up immersed in campus athletics — an experience that has helped shape both her creative interests and career goals. As the daughter of WP alum and longtime women’s basketball coach Erin Monahan ’91, and the sister of former Pioneer athletes Caitlin ’22 and Patrick ’24, she has spent years observing how visual storytelling play a role in athletics and community building. At William Paterson, she has been able to translate that early exposure into hands-on academic and professional opportunities that support her development both as a graphic designer and photographer.
