William Paterson University’s Music Department will showcase the musical talent of its students, from jazz to pop to classical, during its 2025 Collage! concert, a special event on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the University’s campus in Wayne.
Collage! is a benefit concert for the William Paterson University Music Department’s endowed music scholarship fund.
“The Music Department is excited to showcase the incredible talent of our students as they perform works in a variety of musical genres,” says Payton MacDonald, professor and chair of the Music Department. “Our students are looking forward to sharing their passion for music during this special event, and we look forward to another successful Collage! concert!”
The program features the “best of the best” of the University’s music program that includes jazz, choral, musical theatre, pop, percussion, and instrumental works. More than 125 students will participate. William Paterson student groups slated to perform include the Jazz Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Strings Ensemble, Brass Quintet, a jazz combo, and pop music groups.
Tickets for the concert are $25 for general admission and $15 for senior citizens, children under 17, and non-WP students. Admission is free for WP students with ID. All proceeds will support scholarships for WP music students.
