William Paterson University’ Student Film Association will host the 25thAnnual Student Film Festival on Sunday, April 28 at 4 p.m. The festival will take place at the Hawthorne Theatre in Hawthorne. General admission is $5 and $3 for WP students.
This film festival will feature four categories of film: beginner, alternative beginner, alternative advanced, and advanced. All William Paterson students are eligible to enter. Submissions are due by April 20 at noon. Films must be in DCP format.
The Student Film Association offers a great opportunity for students to learn more about filmmaking outside of the classroom and allows students to share resources. The SFA holds events such as script-reading meetings, editing meetings, and the Hourglass Film Challenge.
